Look and see trip - Day Two

Nina and a new driver (but unfortunately the same type of car)  picked us up at 9am. Today we should visit Schools and Kindergartens.

THE SCHOOL

We started with the Yu Cai - School where they have a German section. Mr Mooser, the headmaster   of the German School, met us at the gate and showed us all the facilities. The school is huge but the english, french and german sections are accommodated in a pavillon, that is really nice and pretty familiar, next to the main building. Emma will be traveling by bus every day with the rest of the kids from the compounds around us. The schedule is very tough though for a six years old. 8am-4pm every day except wednesdays and fridays when she can go home earlier at 1pm. But we liked the concept and the people working there very much so we didn´t had the need really too look further for other schools.

THE KINDERGARDEN

We almost fell in love with the Kindergarden. They have really good conditions and so much potential there. The facilities are almost brand new and the children seemed to love being there, like the educators and also learn a lot. Another plus is that they have one educator who speaks german and so do the swim teacher as well. We think that Elvira will have loads of fun here whilst learning German/English/Chinese and will be well prepared for the school start in two years.

 Both Stefan and I looked at each other and said: Let´s go Househunting instead! We were very convinced that we've  already seen what we needed to se to make a decision about school and kindergarten. This is it!!!

We went to Segovia. A compound just approximately 15 minutes away from the airport. And I think that we found just that what we had been looking for....to be continued...
