Hired a guide and a driver for one day to go to Can Gio. The trip included:
- a visit in the fish elephant's temple
- spending some time at the big local fish market which was amazing if you are a seafood lover.
- seafood/Vietnamese food at a local restaurant.
- a walk on a the beach overfilled with seashells (every child's dream).
- Speedboat in the mangroove forest and a guided tour at the Zac base used during the war.
- Seeing the monkeys at Monkey Island and try to feed them with peanuts.- feed the crocodiles with eels for a small extra fee.
Interesting day and I can really recommend the trip (if you're not afraid of the monkeys who can be really aggressive sometimes)!
